Unlike trees, we have been given the ability to choose. We can decide where we live, who we spend time with, what we do for a career and how we invest our free time.
Having so much choice is something I often take for granted; for instance, when I’m buying tooth paste I often complain there’s too much choice – there are more toothpaste than there are days of the week!
And deciding what career I wanted after High School was another mind-boggling decision, in fact I’m still not 100% sure what I want to be when I grow up.
Having said this, the opportunity of choice is an amazing thing. If we don’t like something we have the power to change it. Now change probably doesn’t happen as quickly as we’d like, but if we’re determined and persistent, it will happen.
Before you leave this page ask yourself the following 3 questions;
- What don’t I like about my life?
- Why do I want to change those areas?
- How can I change them?
If you want a different answer, ask a different question – Tony Robbins
